A sauna is place where one can have dry or wet warm sessions in concealed enclosure which is heated from inside using either steam or electric heaters. Wet sauna uses steam generators to create warm session, whereas dry sauna uses infrared or electric heaters. There are more differences between two, related to humidity level and moisture presence. Traditionally, dry sauna was created using heated stones but modular dry sauna uses infrared rays for generating heat in sauna room. This type of sauna is called Infrared dry sauna.

In Canada, dry sauna is very popular for luxury and well being. Sauna has several health benefits for skin, blood circulation, muscles, weight loss and stress relief. One can go to sauna parlors to enjoy dry sauna or he can buy a modular dry sauna for his home.  The level humidity is quite low and moisture is almost nil. Dry sauna is operated at less temperature than steam sauna which makes it an option for people suffering from high blood pressure. If you have any kind of medical condition then it is advisable to consult your doctor to start using any kind of sauna.

Dry sauna is better than steam sauna in cases where high humidity is not acceptable. Also you can enjoy sauna for more time because of low humidity. It is noticeable that high level humidity soon makes some feel like suffocating. If you are using dry sauna then you should drink lots of water to make sure you don’t get dehydrated. You should read all instruction manuals carefully before using dry sauna.
